Background

Welcome, I'm Ms. Lexie and I am so glad you are here. I believe deeply that female leaders are our future. As a San Francisco native and all-girls school alumna, I have trekked the pursuit of STEM as a woman myself having received a degree in Economics and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley and now working full-time as a Product Manager. Using a combination of personal experience and technical-expertise, I am determined to arm elementary-aged girls with the STEM superpowers they need to become the disruptors of tomorrow. I believe there is no age limit to understanding entrepreneurship, and exposure to such topics at a younger age is crucial for young women to build skills and confidence in today's fast-paced world.

So, why not start now?

Women hold 8% of CEO positions in the S&P 500. That means 92% of CEO positions in the U.S. are held by men and less than 1 woman holds a CEO position for every man.*

Mission

Shockingly, as of 2023 in the United States, women hold only 8% of CEO positions in the S&P 500  and make up nearly 30%  of the STEM workforce even though women and men may earn degrees at nearly the same rate.

So, now that we've opened the door to STEM for women, how can we climb up the staircase?

My goal is to empower young women to learn about female entrepreneurship and empathy-based leadership. Using my hands-on curriculum, I teach students everything from exploring STEM career paths and bite-sized navigation through the product life cycle, to identifying their unique STEM superpowers.

My goal is for each student to learn that women can hold positions in STEM at any level because I believe that the world is a better place when all leaders, especially women, have a seat at the table.
